NATIONAL RESEARCH
Youth Mentorship Access Report: The Mentorship Effect
Findings from the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America 2025 Youth Mentorship Access Report, conducted by The Harris Poll, expose a career confidence crisis among youth. The survey was conducted online by The Harris Poll on behalf of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America in May 2025, among more than 1,000 U.S. adults between the ages of 18 and 25 representing different demographics, life paths and geographies. Today’s young people are facing a job market unlike any other generation – with more uncertainty and fewer support systems. Our research shows that a single meaningful conversation can change the course
of a young person’s life, and every young person should have access to mentorship.
